Our Brewing Style and Philosophy

With so many breweries and craft beers available these days, we strive to do things a bit differently. Very few micro and nano breweries brew lagers as they require refrigeration and take a bit more time to mature and they are harder to hide flaws in the beers. We learned early on that we had the patience and talent to do really good and refreshing lagers from our "Grandad's Pilsner" to Oktoberfest and Munich Dunkel. We like to experiment with different hop combinations to give you a crisp, clean beer.

Our ales range from the traditional English pub fare like stouts and porters as well as early Colonial-style beers our forefathers brought the recipes from the old country.

Expect to find innovative limited-production sours, IPA's, and seasonal beers that will pair perfectly with our pub menu.

Currently Pouring:

• Luchador Lager - Traditional Mexican style pale lager brewed with German noble hops, crisp, clean, refreshing 5.4% ABV 15 IBU

• Munich Dunkel - traditional Munich Dunkel amber/brown lager 5.3% ABV 20 IBU

• Dawson Stout - Chocolate, smoke, caramel, coffee- a very complex stout dark as Dawson coal and robust as the men who mined it 6.5% ABV 20 IBU

• Rayado Red - Traditional Irish red, easy drinking! 5.4 ABV 20 IBU

• Amber Lager - A rich amber traditional German fall festival lager brewed with noble German hops, German grain, and fermented with the traditional Oktoberfest yeast strain. 5.7% ABV 20 IBU

• That Other IPA - A relatively mellow IPA at 55 IBU. Notes of citrus, 7.4% ABV 55 IBU

• Grapefruit Wheat - An experimental wheat beer with new hops that had us a bit puzzled at first. When fermenting, it gave off a very strong tangerine aroma. Our first taste impressions were very much: “Citrus!” It’s an amazingly refreshing summer beer! 5.5% ABV 32 IBU

• Koehler Kölsch - A traditional bier recipe from the Köln or Cologne region of Germany. This unique yeast strain gives the beer a fruity to neutral presence on the tongue. We use a later German hop variety which gives this brew a slightly spicy hop note. 6.1% ABV 15 IBU.

• Several other fine craft beers on tap.
